Imagine you have an online store, but you don't actually have any products to sell. That's okay! With dropshipping, you find a supplier who has the stuff you want to sell.

 

When someone buys something from your store, you tell the supplier about the order, and they send the product directly to your customer.

HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?

So, you decide to open an online shop to sell them. But, you don't want to fill your house with boxes of gadgets. That's where dropshipping comes in!

Here's how it works:

  1. Find a product: You find a supplier who sells the gadgets you like.

  2. Set up your shop: You create an online store (like on Shopify or Etsy) and showcase the gadgets with fancy pictures.

  3. Customer buys: Someone sees your shop and loves a gadget. They buy it from you.

  4. Order to supplier: You send the order to the supplier with the customer's address.

  5. Supplier ships: The supplier packs up the gadget and sends it directly to your customer.

So, you're basically the middleperson. You handle the marketing and sales, and the supplier deals with the product and shipping. It's like having a virtual warehouse without the hassle!
